Springtime

I've lived in TN for the past four years. Each year I have had high hopes of going out and capturing the beauty of Spring, but unfortunately I've always missed it. It's unlike anything I've experienced. Springtime is the most beautiful and amazing thing. Perhaps I'm enjoying it so much more this year because I'm not in school and I'm not so busy that I don't notice it. I also commute 30 minutes to and from work each day, so it's been fun to see which new plant or tree has bloomed each day. Before we know it the land will be covered with green from head to toe. Right now it sort of looks like all the trees are covered in snowballs.

Today in particular was joyous. I gathered a group from work to go play frisbee during lunch in the park and the weather was the warmest day we've had yet. It was in the low 80s with a warm breeze. Delightful!

On my way home I noticed the purple trees blooming, so I decided I'd go for a bike ride and venture out a couple miles and spend some time with my camera. Here's the result. The sky was so so blue today. I may even print out one or two so when Winter returns I have visual evidence of Spring.

I hope you enjoy the photos.

Can you find my bike in the picture above?
